All the 2011 red wines are in barrels or Flextanks and almost finished malolactic fermentation.

The '07 reserve Cab is ready for release in January, the reserve '07 Petite Verdot not quite ready for release.

The wine club barrel tasting established the Sarah/Cab blend ('08 Jubilado) as the favorite. The '08 Malbec will have some minor acid adjustment. There was an even split between prference for 100% '08 Cab and '08 Cab with a little Petit Sirah blended in. Some of these '08 wines will be ready to bottle with the Albarino in the Feb/Mar timeframe. 

We deep ripped every other row of the vineyard to promote root growth with the objective of improved canopy. The winter has been very dry so far. We are close to two inches behind. We will be putting 24 hours of irrigation on the vineyard this week.
